Hebron High School and Miami of Ohio-Cradle of Coaches
Since 1999, when the school opened under the leadership of current Head Football Coach Brian Brazil, Hebron has developed some of finest, most successful, most dynamic and most energetic football coaches.
Miami of Ohio has the unique reputation as the “Cradle of Coaches." Legendary football coaches such as Woody Hayes, Bo Schembechler, Ara Parseghian, Weeb Ewbank, Paul Brown and Sid Gillman all had roots at Miami, and the impact they left on the college football landscape can still be felt today. Even though Hebron cannot currently match Miami of Ohio’s epic numbers, the similarities of great coaches passing through the two programs is unique.
Strong programs have talented players, great fans, administrative as well as business and community support and of course, gifted coaches. Below is a list of Hebron coaches that went on to become head high school football coaches and/or coordinators at other distinguished programs.
